Gradbach Farm Scout Camp
October 27 - October 30
We are planning a trip to Gradbach Scout Activity Centre in the Peak District. There will be indoor dormitory style accommodation, kitchen and dining rooms, and is an excellent base for our activities including Alton Towers. We will be leaving Borehamwood early Saturday morning and returning on Monday evening, during half term.
Planned activities:
• Cycling in the Peak District National Park along cycle paths
• Full day in Alton Towers (You will need to provide money for lunch in Alton Towers)
• Walk in the Peak District National Park
The cost of the camp will be £100, including admission to Alton Towers. If your child would like to attend, we would need a nonrefundable £30 deposit by 24th September, and the balance by 8th October. We have a fixed number of spaces which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We will have measures in place to reduce the risk of covid transmission, which will also include a covid test before departure.
