We’re so proud to announce that our First Ever Squirrels Drey was officially launched at 7th Borehamwood Scout Group today! It was a great day with members of the District Team joining us to invest our new Squirrels Leadership Team!
Squirrels offers the best of Scouts – learning by doing and getting into the great outdoors – combined with early years best practice of storytelling, routine, and play. It’s a huge leap forward for us: our first new age range in 35 years. And it is a key part of our response to the challenges facing young people.
We can’t wait to open more Squirrel Dreys across the district, enabling us to deliver Skills for Life to more Young People, at the age where it makes the biggest impact.
